There is a VERY compelling argument for short term trading, also known as “scalp trading”. The benefits are many: less time exposure in the market, far less capital needed to start with, much smaller pip risk needed, meaning the ability to grow your account faster without more overall account risk exposure, etc etc.
However, major caveat: without a proven strategy, scalping can be
disastrous.
