The Institutional Trading Environment Primer:
Most developing traders want to be part of a community; they want to know what others are doing and have access to information and resources that will lead to consistent Forex profit like the major institutions and bank traders. In this session, you will be introduced to the banking environment. We will review of the fundamental and technical considerations made by the world’s largest Forex traders.
OK, we realize that many of you have no interest in the fundamental aspects of the foreign exchange market. Even the most successful quants and technical traders understand the importance of the fundamentals in driving price and volatility.
The first session will start by covering some basic fundamentals that are absolutely essential if you want to understand how the foreign exchange market works. If fundamentals do not interest you, then you probably will have a tough go in this market. This will just be a warm up to the next section, which will get into more detail on interest rates, interest rate spreads and their affect on longer term trends and price. This is essential information for those who want to be position traders. We will also discuss other critical aspects of what drives price and inter-market relationships.
In this section, we will walk through current day bank analyst’s reports and learn how to draw out the important information relevant to what price is doing and why. Most of all, how you can use this information to guide you in your trading success and enhance your overall market knowledge, just like the professional traders and dealers. Once you have gone through this section, you will reflect and be amazed at how vulnerable you were as a novice trader, because understanding this section will propel you to the advanced level.
If you ever want to know how the institutional traders think and operate, this section gives you an insider’s view like no other. Understanding Price, Unique FX Market Characteristics and the Foundation for Patterns:
Chris’ method is a unique combination of Price Fractals, Psychological Dealing Zones and Chris’ Deep Fib Zones which are the root of his pattern trades. This price and pattern based approach at trading will provide you with a life long understanding of price. When you understand how price works in relation to the global marketplace, volatility, time of day and other critical factors, then you will be prepared to attack this market.
When you learn an indicator based trading system that perhaps didn’t gel with you and your personality and was not profitable, you are left with little progress in understanding the market, accept the fact that what you just learned didn’t work for you.

Four High Probability Reversal Patterns You Must Use in Forex Trading:
Price Patterns are leading market indicators that will show you precisely where a high probability trade can present itself in the future. This beats all those lagging indicators commonly found with cheap forex systems that lose money. Not only do you lose money, but you don’t learn anything about the market, in the meantime. Indeed, lagging indicators have their place in trading, but high probability set ups are in the hands of traders empowered with a proper method to identify market levels in advance of price moves using powerful systematic pattern recognition techniques. This workshop will show you four high probability patterns using Price, DFZ’s and other market factors, (and some highly proprietary, extremely secret lagging indicators - ‘tongue and cheek folks’) to help you locate precision entries.
There is no question that chart patterns have power in generating very profitable moves. It is always easy to see a chart pattern after the fact. You will learn to apply an excellent combination of tools to get in the chart pattern at the root of the trend or move. This will give you the flexibility to take early profits on a percentage of your position and leave you with the possibility to manage a long term trade with the remaining portion of your position. Chris’ Indicators: As mentioned, lagging indicators can have their place in trading. In fact, they have been used profitably by a few professionals. Although not a big fan of them, we will add a few indicators that have some value in the overall trading approach. These indicators will be integrated into the class sessions.
Fund Manager and CTA Process
Do you want to trade other people’s money? Have other people asked you to trade for them? We will break up the technical teaching and exercises for a few minutes as Chris will walk you through the process of becoming registered as a CTA. More importantly, he will show you how managed funds develop and operate, including tools and facilities, and how essential equity management is to your success as a fund manager.
Simple Trade Spotting Techniques Intraday, Swing or Position Trader
In trading, there is a huge continuum between the fundamental trader versus the technical trader and the quant. Chris takes most of his longer term trades using fundamental factors that are supported by technical patterns. While on an intraday basis, trades are based off of technical information and less so on the fundamental environment. Chris will show you how to balance the two and specifically what to look for on both ends of the continuum.

5 Critical Psychological Factors Every Trader Must Know about Themselves
We often hear that trading is “All Psychology,” well, trading involves many key components, but it is critical that you have clear understanding of the psychological factors that will definitely affect your ability to profit as a trader. Traders have all heard about the fear/greed emotional swings in trading, but just can’t get a handle on it when engaged in a trade in the moment. This section will help you to understand and manage the waves of emotion trader’s experience when taking on, and being engaged in, a trade.
Let it be known, that your psychological development develops concurrently with your market knowledge and risk control. So unless you make the decision to acquire essential market knowledge, you will continue to feel like you’re banging your head against the wall. And that hurts after a while!
